Macaroni and Cheese

Ingredients

1 cup grated old cheddar cheese

1 cup elbow macaroni

2 cups Medium White Sauce

Recipe for ! cup Medium White Sauce:

1 cup milk

1 tbsp butter

1/2 tsp salt

1/8 tsp black pepper

Directions

Melt butter in microwave in a pyrex bowl.
Add corn starch and salt and pepper and whisk together.
Add milk and whisk it together.
Place in microwave uncovered on high for 1 minute, stir. ( 1 minute on high for each cup of milk you add)


Stir and heat for an additional minute
Add cheese and heat in microwave on med-high for another min. Whisk together.
keep doing this until sauce thickens.


Add boiled and strained macaroni.
Place in microwave uncovered for another two minutes on medium.
Repeat last step until the casserole has the thickness (consistency desired)
